Description
Support TF Paladin CJ3 and Command Group will serve as an advisor on the TF Paladin staff. Duty station will be at Camp Eggers (Kabul, Afghanistan) in order to enhance the inter-operability and coordination between TF Paladin, the Combined Security Transition Command Afghanistan (CSTC-A), the U.S. Embassy, other U.S. agencies and the ISAF C-IED Directorate. Assist and coordinate with numerous agencies to train on how to defeat the IED in Afghanistan. Support Joint Planning Groups, Crisis Actions Planning Teams and functional working groups and shall assist with both tactical and non-tactical operational planning as well as with special projects as required. Assist in arranging workspace and other support needed for incoming TF Paladin representatives. Establish and maintain interagency contact with appropriate representatives to include minimum mission-essential secure, non-secure voice, video, fax, internet, intranet and e-mail capabilities. Provide assistance and support the establishment of a command post in support of Joint Counter Remote-Control IED Electronic Warfare (JCREW) or Combined Explosive Exploitation Cell (CEXC) elements when activated in the greater Kabul area to support a TF Paladin elements mission. Support and assist partner representatives and staff elements with C-IED expertise during times of crisis. Assist with planning and preparations for all TF Paladin related visiting dignitaries when they are scheduled for Camp Eggers orientations. Coordinate new equipment training, sustainment training, fielding, loan and hand receipt of fixed site and vehicle mounted Electronic Counter Measure (ECM) equipment.
Requirements
Possess a current U.S. TOP SECRET security clearance. Minimum of ten (10) years U.S. military experience and have a background in the following disciplines: Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED); Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD); Special Operations; Signal Intelligence (SIGINT); Human Intelligence (HUMINT); Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear or High-yield Explosives (CBRNE).
